June 2013. The Italian Michelangelo Aquilano is a thief in Las Vegas and receives the task of stealing something in a villa but, when he sees the object, a white gold dagger studded with rubies, he decides to keep it, arousing the wrath of his clients, the mafia family Di Giacomo, who begins to hunt him.
July 2013. Giada Rivolta, an employee from Milan, lands in Las Vegas for a week of vacation with her friends Matteo and Maribel, to whom she will be the maid of honour for their wedding in Sin City. The next day, Giada recognizes a man with a familiar face, who runs, chased, inside the Venetian casino: he is just Michelangelo, with whom she was married for a short time in Milan and who disappeared suddenly ten years before.
From now on, Giada’s life gets complicated, as she crosses the path of the Di Giacomos, of LVPD lieutenant Derek Moore and of Plamen, the mysterious owner of the stolen dagger. Meanwhile, someone sows death in the criminal underworld of Las Vegas, decapitating his victims and taking away their heads.
From the casinos on the Strip to the desert surrounding the city, day and night intertwine in a reality where breaking unwritten rules may mean being executed.
"What happens in Las Vegas stays in Las Vegas," people say, but as the days go by, Giada begins to wonder if it will be the same for her.
