This book is an academic monograph that conducts a comprehensive study on the cultural history of Mongolian costumes.
It divides the development process of Mongolian costumes into several historical periods, including the early Northern Grassland period, the Mongol period, as well as the Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties. The book conducts in-depth research on issues such as the structural characteristics, style types and features, decorative patterns, production techniques and craftsmanship, material selection and processing, and wearing styles of Mongolian costumes in different periods, thereby revealing the development and evolution process of Mongolian costumes.
Furthermore, it clarifies the rich content contained in Mongolian costume culture, the cultural connotation it embodies, as well as the national aesthetics and national spirit. It also reveals the relationships between the development and evolution of Mongolian costumes and various aspects such as politics, religion, beliefs, society, economy, ethnic relations, cultural exchanges, and technological development.

Author Biography
Li Lisha is a professor at Inner Mongolia Normal University.
- Academic Achievements: She has presided over several research projects, including "Study on the Cultural History of Mongolian Costumes" (a general project of the National Social Science Fund in 2013, Project No. 13BMZ041), "Investigation and Study on the Traditional Craftsmanship of Mongolian Costumes" (a social science planning project of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in 2006, Project No. 06B043), and "Study on Zhisun Costumes" (a social science planning project of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in 2009, Project No. 09E026). She has also published nearly 30 academic papers.
