Author Biography

Yan Chongnian is a researcher at the Beijing Academy of Social Sciences and the vice president of the Chinese Forbidden City Society. He studies the history of Manchuria, Qing history and Beijing history. His main collections of academic papers are: Collection of Manchuria, Collection of History of Yan, Collection of Yanbu and Collection of Researches on Yuan Chonghuan, etc.; academic works include: Biography of Nurhaci, Biography of Yuan Chonghuan, General History of Qing Dynasty, Taizu Dynasty, etc.
