Author Biography
Li Dangqi, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University, concurrently serves as President of the China Embroidery Art Research Institute under the China National Textile and Apparel Council (CNTAC) and Deputy Director of the Traditional Craft Workstation of CNTAC in Chaozhou, Guangdong Province. His main research direction is the comparative study of Chinese and Western costume cultures. He has long been committed to basic theoretical research and platform construction, and has presided over and completed a number of scientific research projects, including those funded by the National Social Science Fund of China and the Humanities and Social Sciences Research Fund of the Ministry of Education.
