A girl and her mother, three crows, spikes on a field, and clouds draw the first scene. But the girl, like all children, expect her great adventure of being lost. The mistery kidnaps her. It leads her to an underground dream where the dream is reality and darkness is clear as a diamond light. Oneiric, musical story, opened to “what is heard inside”, this book invites us to discover that beyond the veil that is spread between the world and the things, “each sleeping seed, each root, each stem, every flower that rises,” and us, entirely.

Author Biography
Jorge Esquinca. National Prize for Poetry Translation 199. Jaime Sabines Ibero American Poetry Award for Published Work, 2009, for Descripción de un brillo azul cobalto (Pretextos, Era, 2010). Has received various fellowships from France’s Ministry of culture, Civitella Ranieri Foundation in Italy and Mexico’s Program for Fostering Literary Translation (FONCA).
Chiara Carrer. devotes her art to the world of children’s books, and not only does she possess great creativity, but also an ability to communicate and connect sensibly with the reader. She lives in Rome. Andersen award as best illustrator of the year 1999; Unicef Award 1995; Golden Apple in Bratislava in 2003; New Horizons mention in the Bologna Children’s Book Fair, 2011. Editorial Merit Award, Caniem, 2011.
