I have known both authors Katja Krauß and Gabi Maue since their training as Tellington TTouch® Practitioners and truly appreciate their work and deep knowledge about dogs.
In 2014 I first saw the pre-layout for this book idea, which has now, some years later, become reality. At that time I was already very impressed - by the idea, the selection and the quality of the photos and the precise photo descriptions. This interaction raised the hope for a completely new way of discussing and explaining the non-verbal communication of dogs. The complexity of the topic could be made visible and understandable - not only for people who deal with it professionally, but for everyone on the other end of the leash.
Such a book was urgently needed at that time and I am very happy that it is now finally finished.
This book opens a new and unprecedented access to the language of dogs and completes and enriches the number of books about the body language and the expression behavior of dogs. It contains a phenomenal collection of dog photos showing different breeds in numerous situations with detailed descriptions of their expressive behavior. Each page invites you to dive deeper into this world of non-verbal communication of dogs.
Without exaggeration one can speak of an epic work. It should be translated into many languages to be made accessible to a large circle of people who love dogs!
For our Practitioner Training for Dogs, I wish that this book will become compulsory reading! It is a wonderful, indispensable addition to the philosophy (and working method) of the Tellington TTouch® method.

Author Biography

Gabi Maue is a level 3 Tellington TTouch Practitioner for dogs and small animals and a photograph.

Katja Krauß is a certified dog trainer and Tellington TTouch Instructor for dogs and small animals. She has already published three books about dogs and a DVD. Her most prominent customer is the Sheik of Dubai.
