Author Biography
Mónica Beltrán Brozon (Mexico City, 1970) is a Mexican novelist, as well as Cinema and Radio screenwriter. She obtained a BA in Communications at the Iberoamericana University, and studied several courses at the Mexican General Society of Writers. She chaired the Literature Department in that Society and taught the Children’s Literature course until 2010. She has been awarded several prizes, such as the Barco de Vapor Award (twice), the Gran Angular Award, the A la Orilla del Viento Award and the Juan de la Cabada’s National Beaux Arts Award. Some of heir YA books include 36 kilos, Vengadora and El vértigo.
