Hans Christian Andersen Award shortlist Illustrator Xiong Liang Collection:Cow Dung`s Dreams
by Xiong Liang, FISH
Description
- “Give children stories that are far away but true and interesting.”
There is a lot of cow dung on the remote and vast prairie. They are busy discussing their wishes. Some want to be with you, some don't want to be called stinky cow dung, some have been made into cow bolts, some have been made into dog kennels, and some cow dung has special wishes. The story begins around the wishes of the cow dung on the plateau, they are different and have their personalities, and each child can find himself in the story.
The wishes of cow dung, but also our wishes. This story was created by Xiong Liang based on the daily life of Tibetans. Ordinary life has become an interesting and warm story for Tibetans. The cattle and people living there have their self-circulation system, follow the laws of nature, and live in harmony and beauty under the power of nature. No matter where we live, no matter what kind of nature we go into, what we can do is follow nature's cyclical laws and rules, and protect it as it is.
