Author Biography
Christine Schmidt-Schaller was born in 1947, finished school with a degree in precision mechanics and studied acting at the Theatre Academy in Leipzig. From 1981 until 1985 she studied theatre directing at the Hochschule Berlin. Productions at the theatre and above all on television followed. In 1991 she became a lecturer at the film academy in Babelsberg. Today she plays and directs mainly in small theatres.
