Author Biography
Eva Lou is the founder of Madeleine Editions. A Taiwanese-born, American-educated writer, she has called Kaohsiung, Hawaii, Seoul, and now Paris her home. Eva used to write mostly for adults – until she became parent to a story-loving girl! Applying her multicultural lens and unique combination of skills as a writer with a background in music and art curation, Eva set out to develop books that merge music, storytelling and moving pictures. She collaborates with acclaimed artists from around the globe to bring families quality multimedia books in easily accessible formats.
She has authored several children’s books, some of which have gone on to win the Indie Book, Family Choice and Purple Dragonfly awards.
Eva holds a BA in Comparative Literature from Brown University, and a MFA in Writing from Columbia University.

An independent, online children’s book publisher, Madeleine Editions merges traditional storytelling and digital technology to create a collection of children’s digital books that provide a multi-lingual, multi-sensory, and multi-cultural reading experience for children ages 3~8. Most editions are available in English, French, and Chinese.
