Author Biography
Heike Becker, born in Halle/Saale in 1959, is a passionate craftswoman and has inherited the enthusiasm for embroidery, crocheting, knitting and sewing from her mother and grandmother. The mother of three sons and trained physiotherapist discovered the Margaret lace, originally invented by Margarete Neumann, more than 10 years ago and has in the meantime become a true master. Since 2004 she has been giving courses in this technique. Heike Becker is present in exhibitions and competitions in Germany, Switzerland and Italy.

The traditional publishing house is one of Germany's best-known advice publishers and has been based in Leipzig for 75 years.
