Gerd Geisslinger Pharmacist and physician, specialist in clinical pharmacology. Since 1998 Director of the Institute of Clinical Pharmacology at Goethe University Frankfurt and Head of the Fraunhofer Institute for Translational Medicine and Pharmacology (ITMP). Speaker of the Fraunhofer Health Research Group and member of the Fraunhofer Presidency. Recipient of numerous awards, including the Leon Goldberg Award and the Sertürner Prize. Thomas Gudermann Physician, specialist in pharmacology and toxicology. Since 2008 Chair of the Walther Straub Institute of Pharmacology and Toxicology at LMU Munich, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, board member of LMU Hospital, and Chair of the Munich Medicine Alliance. Elected to the German National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina in 2009. Research focus: molecular pharmacology and toxicology. Recipient of several international and national awards. Burkhard Hinz Pharmacist, professor and director of the Institute of Pharmacology and Toxicology at Rostock University Medical Center since 2007. His research focuses on pain and inflammation, with multiple national awards. Longstanding member of the Drug Commission of German Pharmacists and scientific boards. Aimo Kannt Biochemist, professor of Translational Drug Research at Goethe University Frankfurt and head of Preclinical Drug Discovery at Fraunhofer ITMP. Previously senior scientist in pharmaceutical R&D. Research expertise in experimental pharmacology. Peter Ruth Pharmacist, professor at the University of Tübingen (2001–2024). Research focus: potassium channels and cGMP-dependent protein kinases. Recipient of the Phoenix Pharmacy Science Award. Ursula Storch Pharmacist, habilitation in pharmacology at LMU Munich. Since 2023 Professor of Clinical Pharmacy at the University of Regensburg. Research focus: biophysical characterization of ion channels and receptors. Ernst Mutschler Pharmacist and physician, former Director of the Pharmacological Institute for Natural Scientists in Frankfurt. Founding President of the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Sciences and former President of the German Pharmaceutical Society. Author of standard textbooks, ~600 publications, and recipient of numerous honors including the Federal Cross of Merit (1st class). Ingrid Boekhoff Biologist, habilitation in zoophysiology and pharmacology. Since 2010 Associate Professor at the Walther Straub Institute of Pharmacology and Toxicology at LMU Munich. Research focus on neuroscience and physiology.
