Description
The Book of Poetry of the Tang Dynasty is a small album painted by Mr. Fu Baoshi, who is a master of Chinese painting, in the summer of 1948. The poems of Wang Wei, Li Bai, Du Fu and Bai Juyi are used as themes to express the spirit, mood and emotion of poetry with brushes. Fu Baoshi loved Tang poetry and often chose them as the themes of his paintings. The key to successful poetic painting is to accurately convey the original meaning of the poem, with unique brush and ink performance, which needs deep literacy and artistic technique.
