Self-healing with traditional Chinese medicine
by Zhang Yuping, MD
Description
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) emphasizes the harmony between humans and nature, focusing on health preservation and regulation by adapting to the natural environment. This book first introduces the basic theories of TCM as well as knowledge on preventing and treating diseases; then presents common external TCM health preservation methods, including dietary therapy, massage, qigong, music therapy, and more; finally, from the perspective of the five zang-organs, it details self-regulation approaches for clinically common discomfort symptoms. It is hoped that general readers can correctly use TCM for self-management when illnesses occur, give full play to the advantages of TCM, and promote their own health.
