Deliberately using few words and playing with perspective, Moscow-based illustrator Anton Gudim wittily depicts loneliness and frustration of modern living with deadpan humour. With restrained colours and simple art style, his comics challenge stereotypes and habits that we take for granted with a twist on each page. They encourage us to look at the world with a refreshed eye.

Anton Gudim works as an IT engineer by day and draws in his spare time.
He has almost a million Instagram followers. So Sad, So Happy was commissioned and first published by Shanghai Insight Media.
