Description
Vega Stern, art historian and mother, finds a single pink shoe at the Spring of Tears on Mount Sainte Odile in the picturesque countryside of Alsace, France. The shoe belonged to a dead young woman, Sarah Parker.
Vega becomes entangled in the murder case of Sarah, and gets drawn deeply into the victim’s dark and mysterious past, which was marred by disturbing childhood memories, paranoia, drug abuse, and art theft during the Nazi era.
The quest to solve the mystery leads to New York, Germany, and back to France, where works of art provide clues to finding the killer.

Author Biography
Cornelia Feye is an author, a publisher, and an art historian with a MA from the University of Tübingen. After a career in museum education at the Mingei, the San Diego Museum of Art, and the Athenaeum in La Jolla, and teaching at several colleges, she founded Konstellation Press in 2017, an indie publishing company for genre fiction, giving a voice to independent writers and create a supportive community for local authors.
