Author Biography

Huang Zijuan presides over the Kesi Skills Master Studio under the Innovative Development Action Plan for Higher Vocational Education (2015-2018). She also leads two courses: Suzhou Kesi Weaving Craftsmanship (included in Records of Hundred Crafts: Inheritance and Innovation of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Chinese Arts and Crafts) and Learn Kesi with Me (included in Inheritance and Innovation of Ethnic Culture in Chinese Silk Craftsmanship), both of which belong to the Ethnic Culture Inheritance and Innovation Sub-library of the National Vocational Education Professional Teaching Resource Database. As the chief editor, she compiled one e-textbook titled The Beauty of Inch-Gold: Suzhou Kesi Weaving Craftsmanship, a national planned textbook for the 13th Five-Year Plan. She has presided over and participated in more than 10 research projects at or above the municipal and departmental levels, published over 40 papers such as Exploration and Practice of Embedding Suzhou Kesi Weaving Craftsmanship into the Teaching of "Fabric Structure and Design", and obtained one authorized invention patent that has been transferred.
