In less than a hundred days almost 1 million people were slaugthered in Rwanda in what many call the forgotten genocide.

In THE HILLS OF BLOOD, we follow a small group of UN soldiers, who are forced to observe passively while the situation in Rwanda becomes disastrous. A young tutsi mother, Nadege, is fleeing with her infant son in a desperate attempt to escape the machetes. To her despair, she sees her hutu husband turn against them.

Thousands of tutsis on the run seek shelter by the UN but despite the horrific situation the soldier are ordred to leave the country immediately. This leaves the small group of soldiers lead by the charismatic Captain Jack Turel, in a difficult situation. Should they follow orders or follow their hearts? For Nadege, her flight turns catastrophic when she is captured by one of the most violent and bloodthirtsty hutu generals.
