Author Biography

He was born in Tehran 1347 he is an ecologist and ichthyologist. He holds a B.A. in Fisheries Science and environment, an M.A. in environment from the University of Tehran and a PhD in ecology from France University of lyon. He has more than 25 years of experience in teaching and researching fields of ecology and ichthyology in researching centers and different universities of Iran including the Caspian Sea Ecology Research Center, Gorgan University of Agricultural Sciences & Natural Resources, Shahid Beheshti University, University of Tehran as well as Isfahan University of Technology. Abdoli is currently the scientific board member of Environmental Sciences Research Institute at Shahid Beheshti University. He mostly spends his time on studying the biodiversity of Iran’s freshwater fish (biology, ecology and protection) as well as teaching the field. The ecologist has cooperated in more than 30 research projects, published 8 book titles as well as 150 scientific articles
