Author Biography
Xue Tao was born in 1971 and has worked in the fields of education and journalism. He is a member of National Youth Federation, Chinese Writers’ Association and Children’s Literature Working Committee of Chinese Writers Association. He has published anthologies of novels including The Girl Who Flies with the Dandelion, My Moonlight Cinema and White Bird. His works have been awarded Outstanding Children’s Literature Award of Chinese Writers Association, Song Qingling Children’s Literature Award, Bing Xin Children’s Literature Award, and Chen Bochui Children’s Literature Award. His work Yellow Scarf is selected into textbook for the seventh grade.
