Author Biography

María José Ferrada Lefenda (Temuco, 1977) is a prominent Chilean poet. She is a journalist and writer, with a master’s degree in Asian Studies and Pacific from the University of Barcelona. His children’s books have been published in many countries and translated into 15 languages, as have his adult novels, which also stand out on several continents. She has been awarded numerous literary prizes from different countries and is a candidate for the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Prize.
