Author Biography
This book was written by two historians from Kharkiv. They used to study together at the university and even sat at the same desk. Maria Takhtaulova is a historian, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Head of the North-Eastern Interregional Department of the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory, author of more than 25 scientific and popular science publications. She loves morning coffee with cinnamon and flowers, dogs and horses, as well as traveling and taking pictures. Maria managed to visit almost all the interesting places mentioned in this book. Serhiy Zhukov is a historian, journalist, candidate of historical sciences, author of about 30 scientific works. He has 8 years of teaching experience. He is interested in distant lands, especially those located on the shores of warm seas or oceans. He loves dogs and cats. Serhiy read a lot of books and finally decided to write his own.
