Author Biography
Prof. Zhang Qianfan received his PhD in Government from University of Texas at Austin. He currently teaches at Peking University Law School as a doctoral advisor, while holding the positions of Vice President of Chinese Association of Constitution Studies and Chief Editor of Nanjing University Law Review. His research interests are: comparative constitutional law, comparative administrative law, constitutionalism and economic development, comparative political philosophy and empirical analysis of public choice. He is the author of Legal Adjustments of Market Economy, The Sole of Liberty: US Constitution and Government System and Western Constitutional Systems. He is the Chief Editor of the 10th Five-years Plan state-sponsored textbook Constitution Studies. He coauthored Constitutionalism, Rule of Law and Economic Development. He is the project manager of Chinese translation of Processes of Constitutional Decision Making: Cases And Materials and Harvard Law Review: Selected Essays on Constitutional Law. His other works include over 120 academic essays and commentaries. Bao Wanchao, LL.D., teaches at School of Government, Peking University. His research interests include basic theories of constitutional law and administrative law. Wang Weiming, LL.D., Deputy Dean and associate professor of Dept. of Law, Shanghai University of Political Science and Law. His research interests include basic theories of constitutional law and comparative constitutional systems.
