Service Learning means "learning through social commitment". This innovative learning method combines the acquisition of specialist knowledge with personality development and the learning of social skills such as teamwork or assuming responsibility. Already a topic for universities for several years, service learning is now also becoming increasingly important for companies. The background: socially committed employers are more interesting for young people and at the same time companies need socially competent employees.
